Dear esteemed members of the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and and Gynecology (KSUOG),

Greetings. I am Dr. In Yang Park, the 14th President of the society.

After the passing of the eventful year of 2023, we find ourselves greeted by a new year. Though I would love to personally extend my regards and listen to your aspirations for the upcoming year, I extend my greetings through this message first.

Thanks to the dedication and passion of our members, our society has made significant strides academically, culminating in the successful hosting of ISUOG 2023, which has garnered international recognition, a source of great pride for us all.

This year, our society aims to address several practical challenges with increased effort and attention. We are committed to fostering more encounters and exchanges among our members. Recognizing the lack of opportunities for face-to-face dialogue due to various reasons in the past, we will strive to facilitate as many meetings and communications as possible. Additionally, we intend to expand exchanges among members to enhance communication with neighboring countries. We will seek ways to collaborate and advance research jointly with countries in our vicinity.

We will strive to provide new members of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists with ample opportunities for education and experience. We will continue to expand education and research not only in obstetric and ultrasound examinations but also in various other fields. We aim to deepen the understanding that ultrasound serves as the starting point for screenings for adult women's health, alongside fetal health, and successfully achieve education in more fields.

Furthermore, our society takes pride in the substantive success of our branches. We will further support each branch to better engage with more members.

I express my sincere gratitude for the affection and interest you have shown us over time. I wish for happiness to fill your homes in the coming year and hope to meet you in person at the Society soon.
