Over the last 30 years, ultrasonic scan became the most fundamental and essential tool of diagnosis within the field of obstetrics and gynecology like the stethoscopes used in the field of internal medicine. Furthermore, the new age of learning has emerged in which adapting and adjusting to rapidly changing technologies has become inevitable. Thus, the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology has implemented the ‘E-learning program’ to satisfy the demands of its members to acquire latest knowledge.

The purpose of the ‘E-learning program’ is to provide all clinicians who practice obstetrics and gynecology with educational contents which enables them to consistently acquire necessary knowledge and skills on high-end ultrasonic technology and methodologies for image diagnosis to foster and maintain optimal quality of treatments.

The contents of e-learning programs include educational materials carefully selected from the Education Course for Obstetricians and Gynecologists provided by the KSUOG, conferences from obstetrics and gynecology research institutes and symposiums from regional branches.

The Korean Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology longs to promote e-learning program as the source of development to satisfy the member’s needs for knowledge and enhance capabilities of medical practitioners. The KSUOG will make utmost efforts to provide the latest medical information and knowledge through continuous maintenance and management.
